Assignment
· Using the paper criteria below, complete a written paper (5-6 pages) analyzing
a professional advanced nursing practice issue (Access to Mental
Health Care in Rural or Urban Setting-(focus on rural) that impacts your ability to practice as an
FNP, PMHNP, or nurse administrator. The length of the paper does not include
the title page, abstract, or reference pages. Follow APA guidelines for construction of the paper.
· The paper must include at least 5 credible, professional sources from published nursing literature (not websites). References must be current,
with in the last 5 years, due to the nature of the content. You may use your
textbook as one of the sources. (Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare A Guide to Best Practice)

Reminder: This
assignment is to address your role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, not the
role of the registered nurse. For example: you would not write a paper
addressing the shortage of bed side nurses, although this may be mentioned with
some topics, that is not your focus for this assignment.

Identify two questions to further the discussion amongst your peers. Peers will
respond to these questions after reading your paper. Questions must be clearly
