with a possible diagnosis of urosepsis. She is dehydrated in all three fluid spaces, temperature
98.8, skin warm and dry, face flushed. In talking with her family, they indicate her LOC is
obviously altered with a significant change since they visited with her the previous evening.
Concisely describe the patho for urosepsis. Make sure to include pathogenesis, etiologies, and
clinical manifestations. How do healthcare providers proceed when the source of the infection
is unclear/organism unknown? Be specific when discussing diagnostic testing and management.
