- Format: MLA (12-point font, double-spacing, in-text citations, 1-inch margins, etc.)
- Length: 500-750 words (approximately 2-3 pages)
- Direct Evidence: At least one quote per body paragraph

Remember that when you cite lines of poetry or drama, you need to put a / to show where the line breaks are. You must also maintain the capitalization and punctuation of the text. Identify the lines by putting the act, scene, and line numbers in parentheses after the quote at the end of the sentence.
- For example: The Second Witch responds, “When the hurlyburly’s done / When the battle’s lost and won” (1.1.3-4).
