Motivation form
Please answer the three questions below keeping the programme of your choice in mind. When applying for more than one study programme, please upload a separate Motivation form for each programme. Make sure you substantiate your motivation for the particular programme you are applying for and avoid generalities. Note: for one year MA programmes the Motivation form is not a selection criterion. It can however help you and us determine whether the programme you applied for is a good fit for you.
Part 1: Why did you choose this particular study programme? (max. 350 words)
Please describe the aspects of the programme that appeal to you
“I enjoy the American equilvalent of a libray…”
Part 2: Explain how the programme relates to your future ambitions (max. 150 words)
“I would like to be an archvist or gain experience to become one there on in America…”
Part 3: Explain how the programme relates to current and previous education
If your previous studies are in a field not directly related to the MA programme you are applying for, please state which of the courses you have taken prepare you for this programme, and in what way.
“My previous study was for a Master’s of Education online through a college in South Carolina during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Those courses have prepared me because people go to archives/libraries more educated about a subject after attendance.”
