· Should contain:

§ The ‘problem’ that generated the PICO Question.
§ DO NOT simply repeat the PICO Question
§ 2 – 3 succinct sentences.
o Methods –
§ (AKA: ‘Design’ or ‘Data Retrieval’)
§ Brief description of how & where you obtained the
information
· Instrument (i.e. cell phone, iPad, lap top, library
database, etc.
· Database(s) (i.e. Cochrane, Pub Med, etc.)
· Any unusual manipulation of ‘Key words’ in the search?
· 2 -3 succinct sentences
o Results –
§ Brief description the results of the pertinent articles
that influenced the conclusions made.
§ One short sentence for each article used.
§ If two articles had similar findings, use one sentence to
describe both.
§ NO STATISTICS!
