Come up with a topic that relates to the practical application of restorative justice or restorative practices in some way and formulate a question or questions to help guide your research.
You will do research on that topic by finding books and articles that inform you, learning about existing programs or projects and practitioners, and engaging critically and with an open mind about what you learn. You should be writing to explore ideas on how RJ or Restorative Practices might be applied in some way or incorporated into some aspect of an existing project and you should address what drawbacks you might find, what hurdles would have to be overcome or what problems might make the application difficult or challenging. The final section of the paper must contain concrete recommendations for how your idea might work or be implemented or be improved upon, or suggest best practices, descriptions of what has not worked well and why, noting what some of the difficult issues might be.
The paper should be of interest to those interested in doing this work. 10 pages double spaced at 12-pt times new roman font is good.
