Using Appendix C in Overcoming the Dark Side of Leadership, as well as consulting with your ministry supervisor, you will develop a Leadership Constitution. In a 1,250-1,500-word essay, address the following:
- Personal biblical leadership statement based upon the doctrine of your faith tradition and area of church ministry
- Brief analysis and summary of your Christian leadership style in relationship to your ministry based on biblical, theological, missional, and ethical considerations
- Personal statement as to how you will live in the light to maintain/increase biblical leadership effectiveness
- Personal commitment and explanation as to how you will lead from a position of a loving heart, even when facing difficult leadership situations and scenarios
- Personal explanation of the importance of how biblical leadership increases the effectiveness of leadership in different environments
- Personal statement of how to defend against pitfalls or bounce back from shortfalls in a biblically consistent manner that includes taking ownership/responsibility
