In a final paper of at least 2000 words. This is fairly brief for academic writing. The paper should begin from scientific thinking about some sociological topic, which is Bridging Personal Troubles and Public Issues: The Role of Sociological Imagination in Understanding Modern Social Problems”. Your paper will explain your scientific thinking on the topic and connect it to the work of other social scientists, both those that we read from in the course and outside of it.
The final paper should cite at least two sources, and atleast one from the course syllabus which is C. Wright Mills, The Sociological Imagination, Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto, and one more from an academic source outside our syllabus.
