Babin and Harris (2022) defined consumer satisfaction as, “a mild, positive emotion resulting from a favorable appraisal of a consumption outcome,” (p. 304). Consumer dissatisfaction is the negative emotion regarding a purchase outcome and is sometimes referred to as “buyer’s remorse.”
- Discuss the impact of consumer dissatisfaction for future purchases with the same company.
- Identify an example of a purchase you made and later regretted the purchase.
- What action did you take, if any?
- Would you be willing to purchase from the company in the future? Why or why not?
