The healthcare organization I chose is Johns Hopkins Hospital and I want the topic to be on FMLA paperwork. Helathcare organizations are starting to make patients pay to have their FMAL documents filled out. This is something that I think should be incorporated in their insurance plan or included in treatment plan. Without those documents patients would not be able to take the proper time off to recover from their surgery so its a necessary part of their treatment plan.
Develop a 3-5 page business proposal for an organizational change related to the Ambulatory Care service line (outpatient surgery) within a non-profit rural healthcare organization and the needs for the outpatient surgery (current and future) as a base background for your proposal. HINT: select a “real” organization for simplicity and data availability. Your proposal should be written as if it will be presented to the Board of Directors for this organization.
