AI in Risk Prediction
A. Early Detection of Major Complications
- AI models analyzing biomarkers (e.g., lipid profiles, bone turnover markers) for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and osteoporosis
- Imaging AI for mammography (breast cancer) and DEXA scans (osteoporosis)
B. Identifying Minor Complications
- Wearable sensors + AI for tracking hot flashes, sleep quality, and mood patterns
- NLP tools mining EHRs/patient journals for underreported symptoms (e.g., vaginal dryness)
Instructions:
- Write 600 words total (250 words per sub-section recommended).
- Include 8–10 references from top databases:
- PubMed
- Google Scholar
- Scopus
- IEEE Xplorer
- (Others like Nature, ScienceDirect if relevant)
- Avoid sounding AI-generated—use a natural academic tone.
- Focus on real-world AI applications, ongoing studies, or proof-of-concept tools used in menopausal care.
- Avoid generic info—cite recent studies from TEN YEARS.
Referencing Style: Use MDPI citation format (numbered style, e.g., [1], [2])
Example: AI-assisted DEXA scan interpretations show improved sensitivity in osteoporosis prediction [5].
Deliverables:
- Word document with complete draft + references
- Turnitin report for plagiarism checK
- Target Journal / Use Case
This review may be submitted for publication AND residency application- so quality and originality are important.
- Formatting
- Use MDPI style
- Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12 pt, Double-spaced.
- Subheadings should follow academic conventions (e.g., III. AI in Risk Prediction, A. Early Detection… etc.).
- Citation Quality
- Avoid blogs, non-peer-reviewed sources, or preprints unless they’re from credible outlets like arXiv or medRxiv with valid methodology.
- Prefer articles from high-impact journals (e.g., JAMA, Nature, Lancet Digital Health, IEEE Transactions, Frontiers in AI).
