Instructions
The completed project report is to be submitted on blackboard in week
12. The project report should not be more than 15 pages long excluding the
reference page, double line spacing and written in full sentences.
The project report must have a cover page with the case title, names
stated with the professor’s name, course code, section, and title on it.
The project should also have a table of content with the names of the
group members written in bracket against the sections they completed.
Read
the case on: “Accusations of Racial
Discrimination with Employees and Franchisees and Questions of Diversity at
McDonald’s”
posted on blackboard to get all the information for the project report.
Write a report that includes the following details:
- Case Analysis Template – Complete the six
sections of the case analysis template:
- Read the cases, review the resources link
and watch the videos. - Review the case analysis PowerPoint and rubric posted on
Blackboard. - Use the case analysis template to analyze the case.
- Ensure you fill out the six sections of the template:
Identification of Problem(s), Decision Criteria, Analysis, Alternatives,
Decision(s)/Recommendations, and Implementation.

to enhance the marketing activities targeted Black American customers and
explain the process which MacDonald can use to eliminate racial discrimination
among its franchisees.

the company, customers and the franchisees.

strategy success and explain how the company supports diversity and inclusion
as a management goal.

Summarize the employee’s discrimination allegations
against McDonald and explain the impact of the change of leadership on the
issue.
7.
Illustrate the implications of McDonald’s
discriminatory marketing strategies on the Black communities and explain the
different practices and its nature.
8.
Critique McDonald’s commitment to equity, diversity
and inclusion to its a, franchisees, b, Suppliers and c, employees. What
recommendations would you give to Mr Kempczinski his new role.
9.
Explain the dimensions of the case difficulty cube.
List the theories in the case and state how you would position the case on the
case difficulty cube.
10. Illustrate
the reasons for the lawsuit against McDonald by the franchisees and explain
McDonald’s defense and the implications of the lawsuits on McDonald black
franchisees and employees.
(2 marks each for template session = 12 marks, 3 marks for question 3, 5
marks each for all other questions total = 60)
