Challegies and critical thinking on the use of dance movement therapy with children with mobility disabilities

The work is a group project. I have undertaken the part concerning the critical review and the difficulties in offering dance therapy to children with disabilities and I have committed to refer to the limited access they have to therapy, the conflict of goals with families and professionals from other disciplines and in general to the goal setting based on the doctor-centered model of disability that does not take into account the perspective of the disabled person, the absence of inclusive groups where the coexistence of disabled and non-disabled people is cultivated and the possible prejudices and misgivings of the therapist himself. The paper should be at least five pages long not including the title page and the reference page. The paper is in APA format including a title page, citations, and a reference page. The paper should have at least five sources in addition to the text books. Required content: review of the research literature covering general points such as the use of dance/movement therapy using your theoretical framework, literature on the use of DMT using that theoretical framework. How is it applied, what are examples of how it is used? Critical thinking: synthesis from the research about how the findings could lead to the design of a dance/movement group including which theoretical framework & activities you think would be most effective with your chosen population.
