For this writing assignment, you are looking to answer the question of “How does parenting style impact developmental outcomes later in life (late adolescence and adulthood)?”
TIP: You will want to be specific when answering this question. You may want to start with a specific developmental outcome that you are interested in and then research how that outcome is impacted by parenting style.
Be sure to (1) clearly state your reasoning (2) provide a research-supported example to support your stance. – Your example should be specific, supported by research (citation needed), and should show a link between parenting styles and outcomes later in life. – You must cite at least 1 scholarly article to serve as support for how parenting styles impact later developmental outcomes. However, you are welcome you use more sources to support your findings. You may not use your textbook or any other textbook as your source. Be sure to cite any and all sources that you utilize to contribute to your paper.
Your submission should be a minimum of 2 written pages double spaced (a maximum of 3 written pages), APA format (abstract not needed, but don’t forget the references page). As well, you must cite at least 1 scholarly article to support your findings. – Websites not rooted/based in research should not be used.
