The purpose of this final paper is to integrate everything you have done in previous assignments to develop this paper. In this paper you will comprehensively describe the child health issue organized by the major categories of the Ecological Model and systems and structures of the early childhood education landscape. The paper will conclude with recommendations to address the child health issue with a particular focus on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

The basic outline for the Determinants of Children’s Health Paper is as follows:

Introduction (1 to 2 pages): Introduce the topic to the reader, including a thesis statement that serves as the “map” of the rest of your paper. Describe the health or development issue in terms of who, what, and where. Use credible, relevant, and current literature and data to support your claims. Cite all data and information that is not your original ideas.

Ecological Model (1 to 2 pages): Describe how and why the Ecological Model is valuable in understanding the complexity of health and developmental issues in children. Describe the contributing factors organized by the Ecological Model.

Solution Recommendations (1 to 1.5 pages): Propose possible solutions to address the health issue at each level of the Ecological Model and the role that specific ECE Systems and Structures can play in addressing the issue.

Conclusions (1 page): Analyze what you’ve concluded as a result of your research. This section answers the questions “so what?” and “so what does it all mean?” and “why does it matter?”
