This is a Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) assignment.
Assume that you are part of a health care administration team conducting an annual evaluation of your organization. Choose a registered or certified (but not licensed) role or position in your health care organization that is up for review (e.g., a CNA/MA, respiratory therapist, radiology technician). Research a benchmarking productivity resource that can be used to determine if your staff or team is meeting industry standards.
Create a PowerPoint presentation with 10-15 slides (not including the title or references slides) including speaker notes that explain the following points:
What career benchmarking standards and resources are being used to meet productivity measurements and improve efficiency?
How was the benchmarking data collected (electronic records, patient charts, etc.), and how would that information be used for employee review?
What are the minimum educational requirements of this role?
What are the certification or registration processes in your selected state?
What career advancement opportunities exist for this position, such as additional certifications, board certifications, etc.?
A minimum of three references, in addition to the textbook, are required for this assignment.
In a 350-500-word reflection, describe how you worked with your team in the Topic 5 CLC assignment by addressing the following:
