Create a Social Determinants of Health/ Health Equity training for local city council members or a local social service agency.

    1. To begin, select a local social service agency or city council member and design a training that focuses on social determinants of health or health equity.
    2. Select the topic that the training with focus on (Implicit bias, Health Equity, Social Determinants of Health, etc.). The training can cover other topics such as motivational interviewing, client-centered counseling, or cultural humility) but must include information about SDoH, health equity, or implicit biases. 
    3. The training can be a 101 training (e.g., Health Equity Foundations for WIC programs) or a topic-specific (e.g., Utilizing a Health Equity Lens to Address Food Insecurity in SNAP Programs).
    4. Create the learning outcomes for your training and include them in the slides.
    5. Create a minimum of 15 slides that focus on your topic. Be sure to include key terms, examples, and images.
    6. Each slide should include notes. The notes are what the trainer is expected to say during the training. 
    7. Your submission should also include a reference slide.
