Compare the similarities and differences between two different art cultures/art movements with selected art forms. Then analyze how these cultures have influenced our cultures in modern society. The subject for the two art cultures/art movements needs to fall under the time frames beginning with prehistoric through early Renaissance. Needs to have three or more full pages of information. Pages may be double spaced, and the font should not be larger than 12 points. Documentation is required in the MLA writing style. Must show documentation in the body of the paper of sources. Also, properly document direct quotes. Three or more sources must be documented in the paper. It is preferred if you use at least one book, periodical, and one scholarly internet source. The “Redlands Library” tab has some online resources. Do not use your textbook or an earlier edition of your textbook, encyclopedia, Wikipedia, or non-scholarly resources as documented resources for this paper.

thesis statement discussing the overview of the paper.
Part 2 – Discuss the first art culture’s/movement’s social and/or political climate using a variety of art forms and/or artists. Give examples of how the art forms/artists relate to their culture/movement.
Part 3 – Discuss the second art culture’s/movement’s social and/or political climate using a variety of art forms and/or artists. Give examples of how the art forms/artists relate to their culture/movement.
Part 4 – Through critical analysis compare the similarities between the two art cultures/movements.
Part 5 – Through critical analysis compare the differences between the two art cultures/movements.
Part 6 – Analyze how these cultures have influenced our cultures in modern society. Give examples on a personal level as well as a wider societal level.
Part 7- Overview of what was discussed in the paper using 3 or more sentences to give a full conclusion.
