You will decide on a drug to write your mini paper about, it can be a drug covered in the course or another drug we did not cover that you are interested in. It can be either a legal or illegal drug, but must be a drug that affects the mind or the brain or behavior. The mini paper should include a description of the drug including a drawing/image of the molecular structure, how do people use the drug, demographics of who uses it, the basics on how it works in the nervous system (including neurotransmitter systems it impacts), what does the drug do to the body, and how it influences the experience and behavior of the person.
Purpose: The purpose of this mini paper is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of a chosen drug that affects the mind, brain, and behavior.
Requirements:
- APA 7th edition Format: double spaced,12 pt font, Times New Roman (TNR), 1” margins, page numbers.
- Title Page (including title of your choice, your name, institution name, class, instructor name, date).
- 2-3 pages of content (not including title page, images, and references).
- At least 2 empirical (Research Journal articles) sources must be used. See instructions below for tips on finding articles. Other sources are welcome as well as a supplement to the journal articles, including the textbook. Please cite your sources in APA format.
