The final essay should be up to 6 pages, but it is not a “5 paragraph” essay. You are free to use as many paragraphs as you need for it to be well organized.

A major part of the grade will be a final paper. Of the 25% of the final paper grade, 10% (2/5 of the paper grade) will be an outline and intro paragraph. I will give comments on these to help you on the essay assignment. The outline must include a thesis statement and a rough intro paragraph. Your thesis must be a part of the intro and must be underlined. After this, you should list some quotes which you think will assist in your argument, as well as a brief description of some of there reasons you give in support of your thesis.
The rest of the paper will be turned in by the Friday of finals week. It must be between 5-6 pages. There must be a works cited section, and you must properly cite all quotes and any paraphrases you give of the work. If you have your own idea for an essay, feel free to email me
