Watch the two videos below. The first is about an example of
Dutch still life painting, the second discusses still life more broadly. Then
create your own Dutch still life using any method, materials, or technique of
your choosing. (See examples below).
Write a paragraph detailing how you created your still life
and what it represents. Then select one 17th-century work of art from these or
any of the other videos or readings you engaged in Module 6. Be sure to discuss
how the work of art represents its respective style and culture in comparison
to your own approach.
What does a paragraph look like? Paragraphs
should be at least 5–7 complete sentences in length. They should present clear
ideas, and examples drawn from the course materials you study in this class.
