NO NEED For speaker’s notes, just write everything on the PowerPoint. The final project for this class consists of creating a multimedia PowerPoint presentation about a specific social movement organization or social justice initiative. You will research an organization or initiative of your choosing and connect its activities and goals with at least one of the academic sources covered in the class. Important: Please note that you only need to submit your .ppt file/slides. You are not required to present it or upload audio in your file. Recommended Structure for Your Presentation: Introduction (1-2 slides): Briefly indicate what you will be presenting and why the topic is interesting/important to you Definition of Social Change (1 slide): Define social change based on your understanding from the course lectures and readings Description of the Social Movement Organization or Initiative (2 slides): Describe the goals/mission of the organization or initiative Outline the activities it undertakes to achieve these goals Properly cite or paraphrase information taken from their website or other sources Theory Connection (2 slides): Describe at least one concept or argument from the readings and explain how it connects to the movement’s goals Conclusion (1 slide): Summarize the main ideas of your presentation References (1 slide): List your references in alphabetical order using ASA citation formatThe academic source covered in the class It’s the attachment I uploaded.
