Critical Thinking Discussion – Complementary, Alternative, Spiritual/Religious Interventions

Instructions
The goal of this Padlet discussion is to broaden your exposure and understanding of complementary, alternative, and spiritual/religious interventions when working with elderly individuals. Referencing your assigned WK4 Readings and Resources as guidance, complete the following tasks:

Search the internet for a short video that displays or discusses a complementary, alternative, or spiritual/religious intervention that is appropriate for use when working with older adults, preferably highlighting Hispanic/Latin@ elders. In order for your video to be displayed, click on the link symbol and copy and paste the URL link. If the video is longer than three to five minutes, add a comment with the time notation (i.e. 3:45 – 5:15) indicating the part of the video that you want to highlight.
Find an online peer-reviewed article that relates to the intervention you chose and post the URL in the text portion of your PADLET post. This article should provide scientific-based support (i.e. research, evidence based-practice overview) that indicates your chosen intervention is effective in working with older adults.
Provide a short overview of your chosen intervention (100 words or less) that will prompt the interest of your peers to further review your posted video and article.
