Objective: In this group assignment, students will work in teams of 3-4 to create a persuasive presentation with visuals debating the simulation hypothesis as discussed in the article, “Opinion: 25 years later, ‘The Matrix’ is less sci-fi than tech reality.” Each group will choose to either support the belief in the simulation hypothesis (“Believers”) or argue against it (“Skeptics”). The goal is to convince the audience of their chosen stance through well-researched arguments, compelling visuals, and persuasive delivery.
Decide as a group whether you will support the simulation hypothesis (Believers) or argue against it (Skeptics).
