Answer one of the two questions described below. Use a
minimum of 10 primary research articles (online sources do not count as one of
the 10). Your paper should be a maximum of 10 pages. Give a hypothesis,
introduction, and experimental design to answer the question you have chosen.
Do not simply write about an experiment that someone has already
published. This should be original ideas. In your
discussion section give reasons why this experiment might not work and provide
alternative strategies if you can.
3. A decline in cognition has been noted as an age-related
process. This decline does not have to be dementia or any other
neurodegenerative disease. However, disease models have been used to try to
understand normal brain aging. Describe an experiment that could differentiate
normal brain aging from that of neurodegeneration resulting from disease.
