The Hellenistic Period Cultural Exchanges between Greeks and Eastern Mediterranean Regions: Following the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BCE, the Hellenistic period began and lasted until the rise of the Roman Empire in 31 BCE. During this era, Greek colonization extended to the Eastern Mediterranean, resulting in cultural encounters and exchanges between Greeks and the people of these regions. Write about examples of this cultural diffusion and the spread of Greek culture, as well as what ideas the Greeks had adopted. (Be more specific with examples of what & where)
