To increase engagement and dedication, employees must feel they are taken care of in the organization and in their personal lives. Taking into consideration some of the significant changes to health insurance policies, please review the article to assist with this discussion forum.
In this discussion, you will include the following:
- Explain two options that patients with preexisting health conditions have regarding wellness initiative compliance.
- Discuss if the new health plans are helping consumers to live a better and healthier lifestyle or if they are hindering consumers’ ability to freely pursue getting proper treatment.

- Discuss three implications from the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.
- Define two of the most prominent elements to understanding these two acts.
- Explain how they impact the employee and the organization.
