An Employee Resource Group (ERG) provides a safe space for all employees from different cultural backgrounds to share concerns they may have in the workplace. You are a Chief Diversity Officer tasked with developing an Employee Resource Group for 100 employees from different cultural backgrounds, genders, and sexual origins.

For this discussion,

  • Define Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
  • Identify three benefits of an ERG.
  • Explain the pros and cons of having an ERG in the organization.
  • Provide three ways to avoid being biased.

You are the HR Director for an organization. Several employees have mentioned being discriminated against during evaluations and promotions. In your discussion,

  • Determine whether to conduct a DE&I training or episode just centered around the situation.
  • Explain who will be included in the training or episode.
    • What type of information will be used?
