- How do you interpret the various orders of salvation? What are the benefits of outlining an order of salvation, and what are its liabilities?
- What is the nature of faith? Saving faith? How crucial is faith to salvation? What is it relationship to the sacraments? Explain your answers.
- Does God want Christians to grow spiritually and morally? To what degree does God enable that growth, and to what degree does God want believers to act freely and responsibly?
- Which views of sanctification have the greatest appeal? Why? How may the different expectations affect believers in their sanctification? How may they affect the ministry of a church?
- What are the benefits of regular church attendance? How often do you attend church? What would encourage people to attend more? What did you learn from this chapter that encourages you about churches?
- What do you think should be the relationship between the church and the world? Is it one of conflict, accommodation, synthesis, paradox, or transformation? Explain your answers.
