I need help with topic selection, literature review, annotated bibliography (every week), research methodology (Qualitative or quantitative), existing gap in the research, what research questions are you going to work on etc…..A minimum of 90 pages
Any topic in computer science or Information technology that are trending and emerging…..
– Simply saying its a process where you review existing research, find areas that haven’t been thoroughly explored (gaps), and then conduct your own research to fill those gaps. This is often done through literature reviews as part of a Ph.D. dissertation.
– the topic which you sent should use either qualitative or quantitative.
– The first 16 weeks will be looking like (January 2024 -April 2024):
Broad Idea -> Narrow Topic -> Chapter 2 (Literature Review) -> Gap in Literature
The next 16 weeks will be (May 2024 – August 2024):
Methodology -> Research Questions -> IRB Approval -> Comprehensive Exam -> Committee Request Form
The next 16 weeks will be (September 2024 – December 2024) :
Data Collection -> Analysis -> Chapter 4 Quality Review
The next 16 weeks will be (January 2025 – April 2025):
Conclusion -> Full Dissertation Quality Review -> Defend
– the topic will be choosen From existing research where the gaps will be conducted by the research we do …. The topic and papers references should not be more than 3-5 years old.
– biggest issue will be the topic chosen because it needs to have enough peer-reviewed research. The first 16 weeks is extremely heavy on research and requires a minimum of 50 pages and even more citations. The majority of your sources need to be within five years (from the date you submit your final dissertation, so keep that in mind). There is a running annotated bibliography due each week, so the course is a continual commitment throughout the 16 weeks. The more you research and complete your literature review, the more you will understand how you will contribute/add to the body of knowledge.
– Identify a topic in your specialization (Computer science related topics which are trending and emerging).
– What is the cited problem? The problem you want to address has to come from the literature, and be cited, who are saying there are problems.
-What is the population you would like to address?
-What methodology are you planning on using? do you plan on a quantitative or qualitative study?
-Locate at least one article related to your topic. What was the research question in the study? Who were the participants in the study? What findings were reported?
