End of Course Reflection report is a reflection assignment on your learning of Strategic Management.
Question #1. Analyze a topic of your choice from the textbook that you found interesting and then determine how this topic will help you after graduation (500 words minimum). Your reflection report should focus on the following questions: Must cite the page number reference from the textbook.
- Why did this topic stand out to you?
- What did you learn about the thinking and/or assumptions of strategic management?
- How did the topic reinforce your ideas? Or, how did it challenge your assumptions?
- How do you relate the identified topic to your future goals?
- How will you use this topic as you prepare for the job market/after graduation?
Question #2: Reflect on the most important thing you learned about strategic management (500 words minimum). Your reflection report should focus on the following questions: Must cite the page number reference from the source (e.g., textbook, HBR article, Supplemental videos, etc.)
- What was the one most useful or meaningful thing you learned about strategy?
- Describe something major that you have learned about how to evaluate a firm’s ability to succeed.
- What advice would you impart based on your new knowledge of strategic management?
The final sentence of your “Question #2” should be a reflective observation statement where you ‘reflect’ on your ‘learning’ by completing the following sentence: “Overall, when I look back on MGT 499, I have learned ….” (please fill in the blank). To help, I have started the reflective observation statement for you (“Overall, when I look back on MGT 499, I have learned …”), and your job is to finish it. When finishing this statement, consider what you have learned when you ‘boil down’ or summarize your learning. There is no ‘wrong’ or ‘right’ reflective observation statement, as this sentence will reveal your individualized learning experience.
