My topic is: Cultural Competence: Clinical psychologists must continually strive to enhance their cultural competence to effectively understand and address the unique cultural, social, and historical factors influencing the mental health of individuals of African descent. I must use a minimum of two scholarly peer-reviewed articles to support my position. The paper should also include information from Akbar Papers in African Psychology by Na’im Akbar and Self-Healing Power and Therapy by Kimbwandende Kia Bunskei Fu-Kiau. The question of culture and race must be discussed in the analysis of this topic. The paper should be no more than 6 pages in APA (7th edition). The TurnItIn plagiarism should be no more than 15%.
