Scoping Review using PRISMA Guidelines

I have already started, and this paper will help add towards the information that I am currently working on. 
Assessing child abuse using harm index tool. (I am working on the title and research question)
-The goal is to review all data that exists from 2020 and up and identify child maltreatment (physical,emotional,sexual absue) and neglect. It is important to show how child abuse and neglect are often conflated, however abuse is more severe than neglect. 
–in terms of assessing child abuse cases, you should start  by identifying indicators that capture the various dimensions of harm from child maltreatment, and then creating a scale to quantify the level of harm for each indicator.  (I am still working on the data collection and calculations and will add this in) 

 

-You  will need to clarify each type of maltreatment such as physical, sexual, emotional and neglect as well as the outcomes  (physical injuries, psychological trauma, developmental delays, etc.) for the index to cover. 

Inclusion/Exculsion is needed when searching for articles. (I will add to this. i have attached some articles i have found so far)

Needs to understand the following:

Problem Statement: Child abuse and neglect are conflated (I am working on rewording & elaborating this)

1.Why is it important? Doesnt allow us to see where the real abuse is happening

2. What do we know?

3. What is missing? No systematic way to map child abuse/neglect

4. What will we add? : Harm index tool approach

Identify Gaps in research and what type of gap it is. (Evidence Gap, Knowledge Gap, Practical Knowledge Gap, Methodological Gap, Empirical Gap, Theoreetical Gap, Populatiom Gap)

-Identify what future research needs to be done. 

Provide search terms ane database
