Your exam paper is a research paper (double spaced, #12 Font, 5 pages) that offers a comprehensive response to the given question.
An additional page of your paper should contain your sources and/or endnotes. Your sources should include books that we read during the first part of the semester, government documents, and scholarly articles (online or print) pertinent to the question.
Please do not use Wikipedia or any other online encyclopedic references! Your paper should have a title and should be written in clear, persuasive, and succinct prose.
No direct quotations from any sources are allowed in your paper. Please paraphrase and provide references to sources in the form of footnotes/endnotes/or in-text citation.
Your paper should be structured according to the following scheme:
I. Introduction that includes the background and the context of the problem.
II. An analysis/a comprehensive response to the given question, supported by evidence from primary and secondary sources.
III. Conclusions/a summary of your answer that includes your main argument.
