Final Paper (20 points): Your final paper should explore an issue or theme across one or at the most two films screened during the course. You will need to develop a thesis that indicates how aesthetic strategies we have studied are used to present perspectives on a specific issue. Length: 750-1000 words, double-spaced. Papers should be in 12-point type, double spaced, with margins of no more than one inch.

• Clarity and specificity of the Thesis and Argument
• Use of specific cinematic and detailed examples from the films
The lists of eligible movies and what we have learned in the course are described below. I would recommend watch “Hugo” since it has something related about the history of film.
