Research Paper Guidelines
1. Students may choose their own topic for the term paper, as long as it is a topic relating to TERRORISM and is discussed in depth within the textbook. If you are unsure if your topic is appropriate for this course, please ask the instructor. You will receive a failing grade if you turn in a paper with a topic that is not appropriate.
2. DO NOT INCLUDE AN ABSTRACT PAGE
3. This paper is to have an introduction, body and conclusion.
4. Must have at least three citations with the textbook being the source for at least one of them.

5. References and citations are to be in APA format.
6. Paper is to be 900 words long not including the cover page and reference page.
7. Paper must contain a reference list of sources used.
8. Students must select a topic of their choice. Besides using your textbook as a source, you must also use four other additional outside sources for your paper. For example, you may use the internet, academic journal databases, books, encyclopedias, videos, newspapers, etc.
9. Do not use Wikipedia…it is not a credible source.
10. Do not write in the first or second person perspective, write only in the third person.
11. AI generated papers will receive a zero for a grade
