D. Signs and symptoms
The signs of a disease are objective and measurable,while symptoms are
subjective, typically provided by the patient. Signs and symptoms can be
described in a varietyof ways including: acute vs chronic,relapsing vs remitting, theseverity, impact on quality of life,progression, etc.


ex: The cardinal symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (Fig. 1) are represented by the acronym TRAP: i) Tremor at rest, ii) Rigidity, iii) Akinesia or bradykinesia, iv) Postural instability [5].Freezing of gait is another common symptom. In addition to the cordial motor symptoms, PD patients often show non–motor symptoms including: anxiety, depression, hallucinations, hypotension, constipation, olfactory disfunction, and sleep disturbances. E. Diagnosis & Prognosis
**Diagnose is a critical and challenging feature of medicine. The tools, data, and criterial that physicians use to make diagnoses are not static, and change over time. Here you need to summarize what a typical patient might experience in being diagnosed for your
disease, highlighting the standard tools (e.g., biopsies, imagining, blood draw, genetic testing, questionnaires etc.) and procedures. Try and present information on
the accuracy of diagnosis and how disease progression may be tracked.**


example: Parkinson’s Disease is diagnosed based on clinical features. There is no definitive clinical biomarker or diagnostic test to confirm the presence of PD [2]. A PD diagnosis is based on the i)presence of cardinal motor features, ii) absence of exclusion criteria (e.g., brain damage, provoking drugs, infection), and iii) a positive response to levodopa.Clinicians typically follow the diagnostic criteria from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke

(NINDS) [2]. Without clear diagnostic biomarkers PD is commonly misdiagnosed [5]
