I wanted to better understand why children rely and depend on the mother/primary caregiver so much and skip passed the other parent. I wanted to start with the bonding experience from utero. In utero a fetus can hear their mother’s voice, and shares DNA/cells. Then I wanted to talk about how a child relies on a mother for their needs to be met, especially when breastfeeding. I wanted to talk about mother-infant attachment, attachment theory, mother’s being the more nurturing parent, Erick Erickson’s theory. Whatever that can relate and back my question up. The research paper must start with a strong thesis statement. I attached a document with url links, the college librarian gave me these links.
When you have sufficient research information on your topic, you can write your essay summarizing the research on your topic (you can choose your own thesis statement that will guide what you write about).
You want to include: what is important information about the topic? What have researchers learned and what do they still need to research further? You will also write your personal reflections of what you learned—for example, how is this information relevant to your personal life? How can this information be helpful in your work?
This essay is to be 3-5 pages not including the title or reference pages.
To indicate where your research information came from, include APA reference list page and in-text citations. CCC librarians can assist you with creating the APA reference list page and in-text citations if you meet with them ahead of time.
Submit your essay by the due date.
