- Pose two questions that you would like to have answered about Medicare, Medicaid, or both.
- Explain how Medicare and Medicaid affect health promotion efforts of public health professionals.

Community Health Forum: Obesity
Discusion 2: In the last three decades, obesity has become a major public health issue in the United States. More than two-thirds of U.S. adults were considered overweight or obese in the 2009–2010 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Obesity leads to many health complications, including heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes. This Community Health Forum will give you a more thorough understanding of the behaviors that lead to obesity and the public health considerations associated with them.
