Briefly describe the following:
· Name the problem you are trying to solve, a brief description of the problem, and how many people experience this problem.
· Why the problem is a problem (e.g. causes morbidity, mortality, increased healthcare costs).
· What you are proposing as a solution
· What the objective of your project is, and what your hypothesis is.
Methods: (~0.5 page) Briefly describe the following:
· Study type: retrospective or prospective? Randomized controlled trial, cohort study, lab experiment? If using an existing dataset, what is the name of the dataset? How will you obtain it?
· Describe your:
o Study population
o Primary outcome
o Brief statistical test to be used, if applicable
· How you intend to present your results (e.g. we expect to present a series of Odds Ratios based on our logistic regression models comparing group A to group B).
