This is an account of the search strategy used to scope and retrieve research literature for review, demonstrating a comprehensive approach. It should contain sufficient detail and information for the search to be replicable. The following should be evident:
• Databases searched. • Search terms used including keywords and subject headings • Number of hits obtained from your search. Critical Appraisal (500 words) of the Articles
This is a summary of the critical appraisal tool answers for each paper, including quality and relevance to the review question. The appraisals will be completed using a critical appraisal tool. (Holland and Rees, will be attached in two formats quantitative and qualitative) One example of a completed appraisal must placed in your appendices.
Findings (1,450 words) from the Literature
The findings section should include:
• Overview of the papers found; which country; who are the participants; what settings are involved; compare and contrast (500 words) OPTIONAL (if not included, use the words for the themes).
• Presentation of a thematic analysis (putting in themes, most likely 2 or 3) emerging from your articles (950 words).

Application to practice (600 words)
Discuss how the evidence you found in answering your question impacts of your practice as a future nurse or midwife. Critically evaluate the implications of the themes and concepts that you determined from your review. This should include: • Recommendations • Implications for local and national priorities in health and social care • Limitations of the literature review (if relevant, such as more research is required)
Conclusion (250 words)
Round up your findings, themes and application to practice recommendations.
