This assignment requires you to create a proposal for your research paper where you describe the topic you plan to write about. This topic should relate to one of the subjects we covered in class. However, you can choose a different topic if it is associated with the course material. Please note that you are not allowed to switch issues once you decide. In your proposal, you should also include a list of at least five external sources you plan to use in your essay.
Your proposal must start with a comprehensive introduction which includes:
- A statement of the topic you will be addressing in your paper.
- You will be comparing the opposing views in your essay.
- Your thesis/ argument.
- An outline of how you will organize your essay.
Attribution: You need formal MLA or APA-style citations.
Bibliography: You require a bibliography of works cited at the end of your essay.
Late policy: You will be penalized three percent for each day your assignment is late.
