Through curation, collaboration, and creation, explain your point of view, critical thoughts, and understanding of the material at the end of each module. You can compare to a different area of study, such as psychology or social justice. There is no right or wrong, you only have to find evidence to corroborate your theories or ideas.
- Must have between 1500-2000 words of content.
- 3 citations from curation entries you have contributed to the module.
- 3 citations from readings that have been assigned during the module.
- 1 citation from the annotated bibliography entry you contributed to the module.
- 1 citation from a peer’s curation entry from the module.
- 1 citation from a peer’s annotated bibliography source from the module.
- 1 citation of an image or media in the body of the work (link goes with Works Cited entry)
This is a total of 10 citations throughout the essay assignment.
For your essay:
- Writing is your primary mode of communication.
- Please cite the essay using MLA format.
- In a separate page of the same essay document include a list of works cited throughout the page.
- In parentheses, label each citation as a curation, class reading, peer curation, annotated bibliography, or peer annotated bibliography, etc. after each works cited entry.
- Add videos and photos to help explain what you learned. Please cite in MLA.
- You may write about your learning journey in first person.
- The essay assignment is not a summary of what you have learned, but more of an explanation of how it contributes to your overall learning at UA, life, and undoubtedly your creative areas of interest as an artist.
- Spelling, grammar, and organization of thoughts are important parts of your grade. A writing rubric is provided in Blackboard.
