    • Control Variable(s) (if any) {provide similar details as in DV, no need for descriptive statistics. Make sure to include a justification as to why each control variable may be a confounder} You are encouraged to include at least one control variable.
    • Methodological Justification {A discussion that justifies your analysis method choice –e.g., large-N statistical hypothesis testing (regression analysis), small-N case study, comparative case study (e.g., MSS, MDS), limitations of your methods choice}
    • Results {Results from your empirical analysis} –OPTIONAL: Your results section must include four things. (1) Descriptive statistics for all your variables. (2) A regression analysis that includes control variables and supplies a table or a figure to display the results. You may instead present a qualitative analysis. (3) An interpretation of the regression results, including discussing the size of the effect of your independent variable on your dependent variable and whether it is statistically significant. (4) Finally, you must also discuss some other statistics besides the regression coefficients and their p-values. This might include discussing the R-squared.

  This section should include your preliminary conclusions, potential scholarly contributions, and the societal/policy value of your study. A paragraph would suffice for this section.
