Prepare an executive summary (1-2 pages) suitable to support a briefing on your research. The research paper and executive summary should have recommendations for practice, programming, research and/or policy.
Paper should be 10 – 12 pages, with appropriate citation and in APA 7 style for references and format.
Broad-based scholarly research and practice articles & books should be well represented in your references and citations. Websites should not be used for the research paper. (include all citations and bibliography)
You should use at least 10 peer reviewed journal articles related to your topic that are examples of research and practice in family science. You may use other professional and demographic materials authored by government and non-profit agencies in addition that examine the practical aspects of the issue.
Your research paper should be focused on a research topic directly related to an issue or trend in family studies that has implications both in the United States and internationally. You should include in your research paper comparisons to at least two other parts of the world, one developed and one in the developing phase.
