Part 2: Data Collection and Cleaning (100 points)
Description:
I will select the best research question and survey from Part 1. Each student will use this survey to collectt 20 survey responses individually. Once data is collected, each student will be responsible for data cleaning in preparation for analysis. This will involve identifying and handling missing data, correcting any errors, and ensuring data is properly coded for SPSS.
Requirements:
● Develop a data-collection plan that spells out who, where, and why you will need to collect to avoid potential bias.
● Collect data from at least 20 participants.
● Clean and organize the data set, addressing issues like missing data, outliers, and inaccurate responses.
● Prepare a clean, finalized dataset in SPSS.
Submission:
Submit the cleaned SPSS data file along with a short report (1-2 pages) on the data cleaning process, including any issues encountered and steps taken to address them.
Grading (100 points):
● Data Collection (30 points): Adequate sample size and completeness of data collection.
● Data Cleaning (50 points): Thoroughness and accuracy of data cleaning process.
● Documentation (20 points): Quality of the data-collection plan and data cleaning report, detailing issues and solutions.
