This post is a peer-review activity.
Copy and paste one of your annotated bibliography entries into the discussion board. Because you are only copying and pasting one entry into your initial post, your response to peers will be a bit longer this week (200-250 words).
Your one entry should include the following:
- A full reference citation
- A summary paragraph
- An evaluation paragraph
Responding to Peers:
Provide the following feedback for both the summary and evaluation. Please give useful and reflective feedback to help your peer improve.
For the summary:
- Does it meet all guidelines? If anything is missing, be sure to mention it in your response. Do you have a clear understanding of the main idea of the article, or do you need more clarification?
- Is the summary objective? Do you notice the student’s position/personal stance on the topic in the summary? If so, you want to comment that it should be completely objective.
- Is it written using formal language? Is first person “I” and second person “you” avoided?
For the evaluation:
- Are all mandatory parts in the evaluation? Refer to the assignment guidelines as you assess the evaluation. Comment on the thoroughness of the evaluation.
- Did your peer include a meaningful, reflective reason as to why they chose to annotate that specific article? Comment on this. Remember, if he/she said they chose it because it relates to their topic, that is not sufficient.
The following requirements must be met to ensure full credit:
- Copy and paste one annotated entry into the forum.
- You must respond to at least two of your peers in a professional and respectful manner.
- Each of your peer response posts must range between 200-250 words.
