Part I – Write A Performance Appraisal/Evaluation Form:

Write a performance appraisal/evaluation using a graphic rating scale for the job you have chosen in your HRM Project.  In chapter 9, you learned that the graphic rating scale is the simplest and most popular for appraising performance (see Figure 9-2 in the textbook).  Make sure to define 3 job dimensions with behavioral examples in your evaluation form.  For example, you might have oral communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, etc.  These job dimensions evaluated will be different from job to job.  Next, make sure to include behavioral examples to rate the level performance standards for each rating area which include below expectations, meets expectations, and role model (exceed expectations). You must list behavioral performance standards for under each job dimension being measured.

Part II – Conduct a Salary Audit:

Using the Internet conduct a salary audit for the job title in your HRM Project.  Research the Internet for compensation surveys that provide analysis on your job title.  Many of the salary survey websites (www.salaryexpert.comLinks to an external site. , www.salary.comLinks to an external site.https://data.edd.ca.gov/Links to an external site. etc.) provide national salary levels as well as local salary levels based upon a cost of living adjustment of where you live.  Please source and report your salary level based upon where you live and compare the same job title in Austin, TX.
