I have a text and lecture slides ( you need to link the text to a concept or theory in lecture ) you’ll have two question each question one paragraph

Please read the text and answer these two questions in two paragraphs only:

Paragraph 1

1-Question: How does this text link to a key concept, theory, approach or debate raised in the lecture(s)?

Action: Explain the text’s position/key arguments and compare this to the key ideas in the lecture(s).

(We recommend you spend 250-300 words here)

Paragraph 2

2- Question: Is the text persuasive?

Action: Explain your answer and use at least one other independently found source to justify why the core text is/is not persuasive. This source should be accurately cited and referenced. ( APA 7th )

(We recommend you spend 300-350 words here)

 Very IMPORTANT instructions:

  • The first sentence in paragraph 1 should specify which text you have chosen and which lecture(s) it links to.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the core text (its key arguments and the main position of the author(s)) and the lecture(s).
  • Select an additional source thoughtfully and exploit its arguments and evidence to demonstrate why the core text is or is not persuasive. dont just describe it you need to anaylse it
  • You must cite the lecture  e.g. (Whitehead, 2023). and cite the text as well.
  • Your reference list must include the text, lecture, additional source(s).

I have posted an example you can get an idea from the example ( for instance – how to link the text to the lecture – how to start the first sentance – how to bring up the additional source in the 2nd paragrph )
