Course Description
This course aims at providing students with basic knowledge and competencies in procurement management. It affords students the opportunity to understand the procurement context. Besides, it provides analytical, conceptual and the practical framework necessary for students to contribute positively to national development through efficient procurement practices. The course integrates various activities within the supply chain in order to engender value for money from the upstream through production to the downstream. It also makes detailed analysis of the difference between public sector and private sector procurement.

Specifically, upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
